Your guesses are sorted from closest to farthest and you can't repeat one. If you get stuck, you can give up and see the answer.
Hints: every 10 guesses (when you reach guesses 11, 21, 31…) you get a hint based on your closest guess since the previous hint. It tells you something that guess has in common with the secret character, without revealing who it is. It's never something almost everyone shares (over 30%), and each hint is more specific than the last: the most revealing ones, like the same director, franchise or creator, only come from the 4th hint on. For example, if your closest guess is Tanjiro Kamado, the hint could be: “The secret character and Tanjiro Kamado both fight with a sword”. On Easy you can get up to 9 hints; on Normal, 1, one of the most useful; on Hard, none.
