MovieRoyale uses one technical cookie and your browser's local storage so that the games work and, only if you give your consent, advertising cookies from Google AdSense and its partners. It uses no analytics cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Local storage (“localStorage”) is similar: it stores data in your browser, but that data is never sent to the server.

3. Data saved in local storage
So that you can play without creating an account, each game saves your game and your streaks in your browser's local storage. This data is not sent to any server and the owner has no access to it.

In the names, <game> is the game's key (for example, reparto, estrella or taquilla) and <menu> is the menu's key (peliculas, cine-espanol, series or anime). For example, “movieroyale:estrella:peliculas:stats” stores your Hidden Star streaks in the Movies menu.
4. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
To fund the site we show Google AdSense ads. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and use similar identifiers in your browser to show ads, limit how often you see each one, measure their performance, prevent fraud and, if you accept, personalise them based on your interests. They are third-party cookies: they are set and managed by Google or its partners, not by the owner.
They are only set with your prior consent. Until you give it, no advertising cookies are set; if you refuse, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads without them. The only thing always stored is your choice, so that you aren't asked again on every visit.

5. Analytics without cookies
For visit statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and doesn't identify you. We explain it in the privacy policy.
6. Your consent and how to change it
The language cookie and local storage are strictly necessary to provide the service you request (playing, saving your progress and seeing the site in the language you choose). Under article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's guide on the use of cookies, this kind of cookie is exempt from consent.
Advertising cookies are not. That's why, when you enter the site, we show you Google's consent notice, a consent management platform certified by Google and integrated with IAB Europe's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). In it you can accept them all, refuse them or choose purposes and partners one by one. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can keep playing the same whatever you decide.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage cookies” link in the footer of every page, which opens the notice again. Withdrawing it doesn't affect the processing carried out before. If the link doesn't open the notice (for example, because your browser blocks ads), you can delete the cookies from your browser, as explained below.
7. How to delete cookies and browser data
You can delete the language cookie, advertising cookies and MovieRoyale's data from your browser settings (usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”). Keep in mind that if you delete local storage, you'll lose your games, streaks and records.
