- Each wrong guess unlocks the next hint, and you can also ask for one whenever you like: it doesn't cost a guess, but it takes 10 points off and you can no longer earn the crown. If the challenge has no data for a hint (for example, a director's awards), it skips to the next one.
- The sooner you get it, the more points: 100 and the 👑 crown if you get it on the first try without asking for hints. Each hint you ask for takes 10 points off.
- Challenges reset every day at midnight, Spain time (CET/CEST).
Difficulty levels
- Easy:
- 8 guesses. You start with each movie's year, average rating and genres. Hints: country and decade of birth, awards, collaborators, a character, their least-known movie, their highest-grossing one and, finally, their initials.
- Normal:
- 6 guesses. You start with just the year. Hints: average rating and genres, country and decade of birth, collaborators, a character and their highest-grossing movie. No initials.
- Hard:
- 5 guesses. You start with just the year. Hints: average rating, genres, country and decade of birth, and collaborators. No titles or initials; suggestions from the 3rd letter and no photos.
